The Les Paul Foundation is bringing Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience to Winter NAMM 2016 in Anaheim, California – January 21-24, 2016. The 53’ interactive touring experience will arrive outside the North Arena Plaza Entrance of the Anaheim Convention Center and be open throughout each day of trade show for all attendees to visit and enjoy. Guests can experience all of the entertainment and fun on board Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience mobile tour vehicle – a playground of technology, music, sound and invention for all ages. This marks the 100th Anniversary of Les Paul which is being celebrated across the country with special events, the tour and a host of promotions including The Les Paul Award which will be awarded to Don Was at this year’s TEC Awards to be held at NAMM January 23, 2016. Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience will be located outside of the North Arena Plaza entrance just off of the West Katella Avenue area in front of what is known as the Grassy Knoll. The expansive touring mobile unit will be open Thursday, January 21st from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 22nd, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 24th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Les Paul, the man many refer to as the “Father of Modern Music” is the focus of the 53’ interactive state-of-the-art mobile tour known as Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience which takes visitors behind the scenes into the world of Les Paul giving them an opportunity for numerous interactive exchanges within 1,000 square feet full of music, technology and innovation. Guests young and old can enjoy music exploration, sound and technology innovations and hands-on interactive entertainment. NAMM attendees will have a special opportunity to immerse themselves into the life of Les Paul, an important figure and influence on the musical manufacturing world and musicians of all genres.
